Friday was all about getting the wiring finished and insulation in to be ready for the plasterers to come this morning. The last of the wiring turned out to be more difficult and time consuming than expected, so I ended up doing all of the insulation in the exterior walls (for temperature) and ceiling (for noise).

First piece of Sheetrock up at about 8am this morning! “Piece of cake!” Ok, you say “gyprock”, I say “Sheetrock”. And why does spell-check want to capitalise it?!

Alec working to close up the pocket door frame…
This will be the “wet bar”, not a kitchen… Left side ceiling high cupboard with microwave / convection oven and fridge. Right side counter and sink. More pics tomorrow when they have finished the downstairs.
