This time of year, early Summer, is always a delight. This year, the white gum blossoms on our Long Island (just next to Brooklyn) are putting on a “once in a decade” show. They are quite spectacular!
These photos were taken from our block across to the Gosford Shire side of the river.
The only downside is the rain of stamens from the flowers. They are everywhere at the moment, and no amount of sweeping can keep outside surfaces clear.
And then there are the birds. We are truly living among them at the moment. Such colour and constant chatter. Where is Dr. Doolittle when you need him?
And then there was the goanna on the way to lunch last Sunday.
Just another day on Dangar!
