Interlude

As of Saturday, we have a new view and Dangar Island aspect. After 15 months in Watermark, we collected our “stuff”, rented the Council Ute for an hour and relocated to 137 Riverview, at the top of the island. Two young hired hands made the whole thing possible. Thank you, Roman and Cole!

I am writing this from Kuala Lumpur and technical difficulties prevent me from uploading a few photos, but when I get home next weekend I will share our new views, looking down into the tree hops, and out across the river to Wobby Beach.

The new address comes with 88 steps up from Riverview Ave. It will take some physical adjustment and won’t do us any harm at all!

We also have a builder. Formally. Finally. Work should begin in a couple of weeks and the contract is to get us to “lock up”, potentially by the end of March. Then Alec will take over as an owner-builder and get it liveable so we can move in and finish at our leisure.
